Revision is an important factor in your child’s success. The attached document contains a host of techniques and advice from subject specialists - CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD.

As a brief summary of how to effectively revise:

Don’t reread, highlight or summarise.

Do:

1.       Create flash-cards

2.       Self-test

3.       Complete past exam papers

4.       Complete more past exam papers

5.       Distribute/space your study out and revisit topics

6.       Ask why

7.       Interleave - mix your revision up

It is important that when revising you are using the correct exam board for your subject. The list below contains the different subjects and their exam boards.
