“Cohesion and Ambition for Success in Sixth Form.”
As Sixth Form students you are the most senior students in our school and are looked up to by students in lower years. Whether you choose to or not, you do model behaviour and attitude. Our aspirations for all students are high and we expect Sixth Formers to demonstrate that they are preparing for the world of work or academia; that’s why we have a dress code that reflects those environments.
We expect you to wear smart business dress. We cannot condone garments and footwear that are leisurely. There isn’t room here to list the ‘don’ts’ but students need to dress conservatively. This includes the amount and type of facial piercings, hairstyles and accessories.
If in doubt, dress smarter!
3 Strikes system
If you do not abide by these expectations is will have consequences. We use the 3 Strikes System:
1) Conversation with member of staff, logged.
2) Sent home to change by Head of Sixth Form - parents informed.
3) Out of public circulation for the day - working independently near the Sixth Form office. Followed by a conversation with parents.
If there are issues beyond your control then please speak with your tutor.
